Personal Experience & Biography

Native English & Farsi Speaker

I provide a supportive, collaborative space for individuals navigating substance use, co‑occurring mental health concerns, trauma, and major life transitions. My work centers on adults and young adults seeking recovery, stability, and meaningful change. I approach each client with curiosity, respect, and a deep belief in their capacity to heal, grow, and reconnect with their values.

My background spans community mental health, gender‑specific treatment, harm reduction, and advanced clinical research focused on addiction, dysregulation, impulsivity, and opioid‑related risk. I’ve worked with individuals experiencing opioid use disorder, housing instability, legal involvement, chronic trauma histories, and complex emotional patterns. I draw from trauma‑informed, person‑centered, and evidence‑based modalities to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward sustainable recovery.

I especially enjoy supporting clients who feel stuck between who they’ve been and who they want to become — people navigating identity shifts, emotional dysregulation, grief, impulsivity, or patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we explore how emotions, habits, relationships, and lived experiences shape behavior, and how new strategies can create space for stability, empowerment, and self‑compassion.

My role is to walk alongside you, offering tools, structure, and understanding as you navigate challenges related to substance use, mental health, or life transitions. Whether you’re working toward harm reduction, abstinence, emotional regulation, or simply a healthier relationship with yourself, I’m here to support your journey with clarity, warmth, and clinical expertise.
