Personal Experience & Biography

I earned my Master of Social Work from Spalding University and am a Certified Social Worker (CSW) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). I have experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, and complex relational dynamics.

My clinical background includes providing services in outpatient, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and individual therapy settings. I support clients in early recovery, relapse prevention, and long-term emotional healing.

I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and EMDR-informed interventions. I have a strong interest in trauma processing, attachment patterns, perfectionism, and codependency, and I work with clients to help align their behaviors with their values.

My work is grounded in self-determination, ethical integrity, and deep respect for each client’s lived experience. I believe healing happens when individuals feel seen, empowered, and supported in building a life that reflects who they truly are — not just who they learned to be in survival mode.
